th staff were welcoming and friendly; clean and relaxing hotel making it good value for money
there was a mix up over my bill - i settled early (which i think is polite); after departure i received a call to say my bill had not been settled. Following several calls and quotations of receipt numbers it was sorted, but this ending did take the edge off what, overall was a lovely experience

Helpful, friendly multi lingual receptionists. Substantial English breakfast. Handy location to walk to town, many restaurants and laundromat closeby, good walk to Jersey Archives for genealogists, good walk to Condor Ferries. Hotel booked bus tours of Jersey Is for us and advised us of local bus fares and connections. Older Hotel but always well serviced daily and cotton sheets.
Wi-Fi did not work in bedroom. Smokers blocking front door way - disgusting!

Generally comfortable with the usual amenities of a coffee/tea making facility, nice downstairs lounge and bar; large en-suite with full bath; for a single booking had large room with two single beds with sheets and blankets on bed not duvets; rooms sensibly have easy chairs to sit on to watch tv. Large self-service Continental breakfast choices, with waiter/ table service for the full English, quite good. Useful location in downtown St. Helier, near bus stop to airport.
Somewhat tired appearance; could do with a bit of an inside face-lift. Unusual features: Tiny 2 persons lift; bathroom at front has normal windows with nets and curtains so you have to pull curtains when going to toilet as it overlooks other side of street; in huge dining room, solo breakfast diners were forcibly seated next to each other in one single row of 2-seater tables whereas 3+ diners got tables dotted all over room! Beware of no parking and only a few "Residents only" spaces across the one-way street. You are directed to a multi-story pay car park in same street(free at weekends).

I booked a twin room here for 3 nights and had a great view from the room. Enjoyed having a bath and fresh towels every day. It was a really nice stay! 🌟

Although the hotel furnishing are fairly old fashioned, the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall I enjoyed my stay but small things could be done to make the rooms nicer - matching curtains and bedspreads and a small repair to the curtains. None of these minor points spoilt my enjoyment and I would recommend the hotel for budget travellers.

My guest room with bath and fresh towels was well-appointed...
The shower pressure was poor and I had to get used to it.
